A handy, powerful and cordless vacuum-lifting device for the laying of dense and slightly porous stone slabs
This lifting device is designed to be mounted on a excavator of 2.6T and above, dependant on the weight of the paving slabs being handled.
The SPS 400 SM suction plate measuring approx. 580 x 280 mm (22¾ x 11″) is able to lift 400kg (880lb) at 500mbar low pressure.
Powered by a rechargeable and exchangeable 12V battery, the power saving control system makes the battery last for one whole working day. Also a battery charge indicator shows how charged the battery is.
Security features of the SM series include a flashing light to warn of insufficient low pressure. The automatic control system to start the vacuum pump after a loss of pressure; in conjunction with the high volume vacuum storage tank ensure the risk of loosing a slab is minimal.
The stone magnet is equipped with 2 vacuum pumps as standard, when handling dense products only one pump is used. On slightly more porous materials or when time is of the essence the second pump can be switched on.
